Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (abbreviated as Call of Duty: MW3) is a first-person shooter video game, developed by Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games, with Raven Software having assisted in development.[7] It is the third installment in the Modern Warfareseries, a direct sequel to 2009's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and the eighth Call of Dutyinstallment.
The game was released on November 8, 2011 in Europe and North America on Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3,[8] and Wii,[6] with a separate version for Nintendo DSdeveloped by n-Space. In Australia, the Wii version was released on November 23, 2011.[9] InJapan, Square Enix handled the installment with a separate subtitled and dubbed version, as they did for Call of Duty: Black Ops. They first released a Japanese-subtitled version on November 17, 2011. Then, on December 22, 2011, they will release a Japanese-voice dubbed version. Within 24 hours of going on sale, the game sold 6.5 million copies in the US and UK alone and grossed $400 million, making it the biggest entertainment launch of all time.

Gameplay

Like its predecessors, Modern Warfare 3 is a first-person shooter video game. Activisionconfirmed at Gamescom 2011, that Modern Warfare 3 on the PC has dedicated serverssupport.[13]

Campaign

The player assumes the role of various characters during the single-player campaign, changing perspectives throughout the progression of the story, which, like its preceedors, is divided into three sets of missions called "Acts". Each mission in an act features a series of objectives that are displayed on the heads up display, which marks the direction and distance towards and from such objectives. Damage to the player is shown by the percentage of blood splatter shown on the screen. The player's health regenerates over time. Mission objectives vary in their requirements, ranging from having the player arrive at a particular checkpoint, to eliminating enemies in a specified location, to standing their ground against enemy squadrons, manning mini-guns and other weapons, and planting explosive charges on an enemy installation. Some of these objectives can be failed, and may or may not hinder progression of the story. The player is also accompanied by fellow soldiers who cannot be issued orders.

Battlefield 3 (commonly abbreviated to BF3) is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA Digital Illusions CE and published by Electronic Arts. The game was released in North America on October 25, 2011 and in Europe on October 28, 2011 for Microsoft Windows,PlayStation 3, Xbox 360[4] and EA Mobile confirmed a port for the iOS platform. It does not support versions of Windows prior to Windows Vista as the game only supports DirectX 10 and 11.[5] It is a direct sequel to 2005's Battlefield 2, and the eleventh installment in theBattlefield franchise. The game sold 5 million copies in its first week of release,[6] and was released to critical acclaim from most game reviewers. The PC download is exclusive to EA'sOrigin platform,[7] through which PC users also authenticate when connecting to the game. In campaign mode, players take on the personas of various military roles; including a USMCreconnaissance officer, an F-18 systems officer, an M1A2-Abrams tank operator, and aSPETSNAZ operative. The campaign takes place at various locations, including Iran, and follows the story of Sergeant Blackburn and later, Dimitri Mayakovsky.

Gameplay

Battlefield 3 features the combined armsbattles that made the series popular across single-player, co-operative and multiplayer modes. It reintroduces several elements absent from the Bad Company games, including fighter jets, the prone position and 64-player battles on PC.[8][9] To accommodate the lower player count on consoles, the ground area is limited for Xbox 360 and PS3, though fly space remains the same.[10]

During an interview with Game Informer Magazine, EA stated that Commander Mode is unlikely to be included,[11] which was met with some criticism on the EA forum.[12]

The game features maps set in Paris, Tehran, Sulaymaniyah, New York, Wake Island andOman. The maps cover urban streets, metropolitan downtown areas, and open landscapes suited to vehicle combat.[13]

Battlefield 3 introduces the "Battlelog"; a free cross-platform social service with built-in text messaging, voice communications, game statistics, and the ability to join games that friends are already playing (though both players need to be on the same platform).

Plot

Set in 2014, SSgt Blackburn leads a five-man squad on a mission to find and safely return a US squad investigating a possible IED, whose last known position was a market controlled by a hostile militia called the PLR. Blackburn and his squad are later sent to Tehran to apprehend a the leader of the PLR, Al-Bashir. While investigating an underground vault in the target's suspected location, Blackburn and his team learn that the PLR acquired Russian portable nuclear devices, and that two of the three devices are missing. Being overrun, and requesting back-up, an M1 Abrams convoy led by Sergeant Miller is deployed to extract Blackburn's team. Miller facilitates Blackburn's helicopter extraction, but is captured when waiting for a Quick Reaction Force. Miller is promptly executed by Solomon and Al-Bashir, with the event being filmed.

Later, Blackburn and his squad manage to capture Al-Bashir, who realizes Solomon betrayed him and reveals his plot to detonate the nukes in Paris and New York, before dying from the wounds he sustained in his capture. Blackburn's team also gets a lead on an arms dealer, Kaffarov, who was working with Solomon; however, while pursuing Kaffarov, the Americans encounter a large Russian force, who are also attempting to apprehend Kaffarov and are hostile towards the Americans. Almost all of Blackburn's squad is killed, while a Spetsnaz team led by Dima assaults Kaffarov's villa. Dima successfully interrogates Kaffarov, and reveals Solomon's plot to Blackburn. Blackburn's commanding officer arrives and to save Dima's life and let him escape, Blackburn shoots his CO. Due to this, Blackburn is captured and interrogated by agents within the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and explains all of his previous operations to them in flashbacks. During Blackburn's capture, Dima attempts to stop the attack in Paris, but he is unsuccessful and his team is wounded in the resulting detonation. The CIA agents do not believe Blackburn's story, since Solomon is a CIA informant and there is no concrete proof of his involvement in the terrorist attacks. They instead believe that Russia is responsible for the attacks and that Dima had played Blackburn.

Left with no other option, Blackburn and surviving squad member Montes break out of captivity to stop the attack in New York. Solomon shoots Montes, but Blackburn manages to kill Solomon in the resulting melee, as well as recovering the last nuclear device. In the epilogue, having been diagnosed with radiation poisoning, Dima writes about the efforts of both him and Blackburn to stop Solomon's plot. He then readies his gun when a knock is heard at his door.

Uncharted 3

GAME PLAY:

The new melee system allows Nathan Drake to attack an enemy while being choked.
Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception is an action-adventure game played from a third-person perspective, with the player in control of Nathan Drake. Drake will have a large number of different animation sets, enabling him to react according to his surroundings. Drake is physically adept and is able to jump, sprint, climb, swim, scale narrow ledges, wall-faces to get between points, and perform other acrobatic actions. Drake can now take on opponents in more ways than before: hand-to-hand combat with multiple opponents, contextual melee attacks, and new stealth options. Uncharted 3 also features expanded and diverse traversal moves with deep gunplay. Drake can be equipped with up to two firearms – one single-handed and one two-handed – and four grenades. Drake can pick up weapons, automatically replacing the existing weapon he was using, and additional ammunition from downed enemies.
The player can direct Drake to take cover behind corners or low walls using either aimed or blind-fire to kill his enemies. The player can also have Drake fire while moving. If Drake is undetected by his enemies, the player can attempt to use stealth to take them out, such as by sneaking up behind them and killing them with one hit, or by pulling an unsuspecting foe over a ledge from which Drake is hanging. The stealth mechanic has been simplified and improved. Some areas of the game will require the player to solve puzzles with the use of Drake's journal, which provides clues towards the puzzles' solutions. When enabled, a hint system provides gameplay clues, such as the direction of the next objective.

L.A Noire

                                                                                                        L.A Noire
LA-Noire-Box-Art.jpg

L.A. Noire is a video game for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 developed by Team Bondi in conjunction with Rockstar Games and published by Rockstar Games.[5][12][13] L.A. Noire is set in Los Angeles in 1947, with players being challenged to solve a range of crimes.[12]
As the title suggests, the game draws heavily from both plot and aesthetic elements of film noir – stylistic films from the 1940s and 1950s that shared similar visual styles and themes including crime, sex and moral ambiguity and were often shot in black and white with harsh, low-key lighting. The game uses a distinctive colouring-style in homage to the visual style of film noir. The post-war setting is the backdrop for plot elements that reference the detective films of the '40s (as well as James Ellroy's novel L.A. Confidential and the Curtis Hanson filmbased on it), such as corruption and drugs, with a jazz soundtrack.
L.A. Noire is also notable for using Lightsprint's real-time global illumination technology, as well as Depth Analysis's newly developed technology for the film and video game industries called MotionScan, where actors are recorded by 32 surrounding cameras to capture facial expressions from every angle.

Gameplay

Cole interrogating a civilian at a crime scene. Part of the gameplay includes interrogating both civilians and suspects in order to progress through a case level.
The game takes place in 1947 Los Angeles, a city of glamour, fame, and wealth, but also where crime, vice, and corruption are rife. The player assumes the role of Cole Phelps, an LAPD officer who rises through the ranks of the department. He has joined the police force to "right the wrongs" he committed during the Second World War. He starts off as a patrolman, then advances to traffic detective, homicide, vice, and finally arson investigator. Each rank gives the player a partner who will help Phelps in his investigations, fights, and arrests.
The game blends investigative elements such as mystery and crime solving with fast paced action sequences including on-foot and car chases as well as gun-play. In addition to the storyline missions, the player can work on optional side-investigations following a call from dispatch. The player can also travel on foot, as well as in different vehicles.
Unlike Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto series, the player cannot freely create chaos and kill civilians with weapons and cars, as the character is a police detective. Weapons are only allowed in appropriate circumstances.

Infamous 2

File:Infamous 2.png
Infamous 2 is an upcoming 2011 open world video game for the PlayStation 3 video game console developed by Sucker Punch Productions and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. The game is the sequel to the 2009 video game Infamous and may feature support for the PlayStation Move motion controller.

Plot

The game is set in a new city called New Marais, a New Orleans-inspired city, which protagonist Cole MacGrath heads to in order to enhance his electrical abilities further.[3] The game begins with Cole battling the Beast in Empire City, barely escaping alive. Cole, along with his friend Zeke, flees to New Marais to prepare for his inevitable confrontation with the Beast; this is the location where the Ray Sphere was first created. Cole encounters the Militia, a shadowy organization led by a man named Bertrand, and the Corrupted, horribly mutated beings affected by the Ray Sphere. The Militia has taken over New Marais in an attempt to keep all superpowered or abnormal entities away. Cole encounters Wolfe, one of the men involved in the Ray Sphere's creation. Cole will combat the Corrupted and Militia, explore New Marais, and learn about himself, Kessler, and The First Sons along the way while gaining new abilities to face the Beast.

Gameplay

In addition to content on disc, Infamous 2 will allow users to create their own missions and distribute them to other players as User-generated content. Players will be able to use any location in the open-world game and the available allies, foes, and non-player characters to construct their missions. These missions can include combat, stealth elements, limitations on Cole's powers, and race and platforming challenges. Most of these user-created missions will appear randomly to other players as they progress through the game's story, appearing similar to any of the on-disc missions. After completing these missions, players can rate them; this information will be used by Sucker Punch to promote popular missions to "Featured", where they will then appear in-game for all players

WWE Super Stars

                                                                                                      WWE super stars:
WWE All Stars is an upcoming professional wrestling video game published by THQ anddeveloped by THQ San Diego for the PlayStation 2PlayStation 3PlayStation PortableWii, and Xbox 360 systems.[2][3][4] The game features current and former WWE wrestlers competing in fast-paced wrestling matches.

Gameplay

In contrast to the more simulation based WWE SmackDown vs. Raw series, WWE All Starsfeatures arcade-style gameplay along with over-the-top animation and wrestlers bearing a more exaggerated look. The game is expected to be a combination of a fighting game and a wrestling game, with combos playing a major factor in gameplay, both on the ground and mid-air. Some gameplay videos show the wrestlers doing exaggerated moves, such as John Cena's Attitude Adjustment, in which he dives high into the air. The game will feature present and past WWE wrestlers, as well as commentary from Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler.

Development

The first official announcement for both WWE All Stars and WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 was made at E3 in June 2010 by THQ, shortly followed by an interview with gaming website GameSpot.
WWE All Stars is the first WWE game to be produced by the THQ San Diego team. Many of the team's employees had worked Midway San Diego, the studio that developed the firstTNA Impact! professional wrestling video game. [8] It is the second WWE game Sal Divitahas produced, the first being WWF WrestleMania: The Arcade Game.

Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Storm 2

The gameplay retains many of the elements from the first game. The game features 23 interactive and destructible stages. Each character can also gain new combos and jutsu by activating the Awakening Mode. As the story progresses, players will unlock new Jutsu and Ultimate Jutsu for certain characters. Jutsu clashes, however, have been removed.
Support characters return with 2 new features. The first feature is Support Types. These types are Defense, Attack, and Balanced. Each of these can be unlocked for each support character and will decide the actions of the support character during Support Drive level 1. The 2nd new feature is the Support Drive. Support Drive has 2 levels. Level 1 is activated once the players support characters are summoned enough times. When Support Drive level 1 is activated, the players support characters will summon themselves automatically depending on their support type depending on what actions the player is executing. When a support character automatically summons itself, it will not reset the support character charge gauge, and can even summon when the gauge is not full. A support character cannot be manually summoned by the player if it has already automatically summoned itself. If a support character is set to Defense, it will automatically summon itself when the player is charging chakra, block the opponent from dashing into the player. When a support character is set to Attack, it will help the player attack the opponent through combos, and knock the opponent back when a combo sends them flying. When a support character is set to Balanced, they will throw projectiles along side the player when the player uses chakra projectiles and block incoming Ultimate Jutsus, at the expense of losing that support for a while. When Support Drive level 2 is activated, for a limited amount of time the player will be capable of releasing a Team Ultimate Jutsu. A Team Ultimate Jutsu is activated by hitting the chakra button 3 times and then the attack button. A Team Ultimate Jutsu drains an enormous amount of the players chakra, and does massive damage if it makes contact with an unguarded opponent.
The game does not have free roaming in the same sense as the original, instead it is replaced by more traditional JRPG screens and movement. In addition to the Leaf Village, players are able to travel outside the village, ranging from forests to deserts, and also the Hidden Sand Village. Boss battles have returned, with quick-time events and cutscenes.
Players can access multiple online features; quick matches have opponents chosen at random, ranked matches with leader boards, match customization, as well as the availability to host matches.

Playable characters

Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 features 44 characters from the Shippuden series[4] as well as Tekken 6'sLars Alexandersson. Lars appears in his costume from Tekken 6 designed by Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto.[5]
